Brandt is currently seeking a Test Engineer for our Regina, SK location. Test Engineer are competent technical people who have demonstrated an aptitude for product testing.  This includes development of new testing methods and equipment used for the continuous improvement of existing and future products, as well as unbiased evaluation of the Brandt product line.  These people are responsible for testing, validation and verification with their primary objective being the creation of engineering deliverables of real world data and information.  Successful applicants will have great mechanical / electrical / hydraulic / pneumatic intuition and well developed technical and rational skills.  They will have expressed a clear desire for continuous learning and improvement, both with respect to career objectives and testing solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Use of electronic data acquisition to monitor and diagnose projects and products.
Use and calibrate a combination of measurement tools and equipment to adhere to testing standards.
Hands on use and evaluation of Brandt products.
Set up load cases, collect and catalog data, produce engineering deliverables and reports to validate FEA and meet testing standards.
Identify areas for improving cost, quality, schedule and execution of product tests.

Required Experience:

Professional Engineer with 3+ years of experience in equipment testing.
Experience in test methods, data analysis and test equipment.
Excellent communication skills  written and verbal.
Extensive product/project knowledge across the Brandt product line offering considered an asset.
Familiarity with operating heavy / agricultural equipment.
Good understanding of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, strain gauges and transducers
Meticulous attention to detail, positive attitude, analytical and logical thinking, detail oriented and observant.
