Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager  and Maintenance Supervisors, this position is responsible for cleaning vacant units and common areas, snow and ice removal and yard maintenance. This includes a variety of tasks such as: cutting grass, cleaning building common areas, picking up garbage, as well as providing general support to other members of the Maintenance Team.  This position acts in the role of front line field personnel, as such, it is expected that the Cleaner will act in a professional manner and will promote strong relationships with Regina Housing, our tenants, and our community partners.

QUALIFICATIONS
*Applicants must have a clear Criminal Record Check and provide proper documentation if hired.
*Must have adequate written and verbal communication skills in English
*General knowledge of cleaning processes and yard maintenance.
*Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS 2015) and Power Mobile Equipment training an asset.
*Demonstrate strong interpersonal and team building skills with an emphasis on collaboration and coordination.
*Able to prioritize and organize workload, resources, and time often with competing interests.
*Able to work independently with minimal supervision, this skill will also require the applicant to demonstrate a high degree of self-initiation.
*Able to work with and relate to a diverse client base including people of various cultures, abilities, and social and economic backgrounds.
*All applicants must have a reliable vehicle and must hold a valid driver's license.
