The Network Solutions Architect acts as a bridge between delivery and sales by assisting the sales organization to sell what we have the capability to deliver, and ensuring the quality of the delivered solution once the business has been sold.  The position is also responsible to contribute to the development and invention of new network solutions that deliver business value to ISM Canadas customers.

The successful candidate will be a results-oriented IT professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with proven interpersonal and communication skills.  They must have a demonstrated ability to deliver to client needs, often under tight timelines, to meet or exceed client expectations; and a deep knowledge and proven skills in network routing, switching, automation, transport and cloud infrastructure.  

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or Diploma in Computing Systems or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7 or more years of network IT experience in various delivery roles including network design, routing, switching and internet and cloud infrastructure
- 3 or more years experience in network / IT architecture
- Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet or other OEM Certifications considered an asset
- Experience with security, automation, analytics, and AI considered an asset
- Wide knowledge of a selection of IT delivery methodologies (ITIL, TOGAF, RUP, Zachman, etc.)
- Experience with delivering enterprise solutions within large complex organizations
