Position Location: Regina or Saskatoon

Job Summary:

Reporting formally to the Director, Communications, this position is responsible for the advancement of the objectives of the business transformation program (BTP) through the development and delivery of a comprehensive BTP communications strategy that includes effective marketing, public relations and communications. This position is required to collaborate with all WCB management levels and external WCB stakeholders to achieve program communications objectives and meet the information and change management needs of internal and external stakeholders.

This position operates in a matrix reporting relationship (dotted-line), receiving day-to-day instruction and guidance from BTP leadership to advance the communications and change management needs of the BTP. The position analyzes information received through various sources (e.g. Change Management Office, BTP Steering Committee, Board Committee, external stakeholder engagements) to monitor and continuously improve the effectiveness of the strategy and related activities.


Qualifications:
Four years successfully completed post-secondary education in Business, Public Relations and/or Marketing, Communications
Minimum of five (5) years successful experience demonstrating the ability to do the following:
Develop and maintain a network of trusted, productive relationships with business units and business leaders within the organization.
Operate effectively within a change environment, creating and executing effective communications strategies in support of change efforts.
Develop and execute communications strategies and frameworks as well as related content for corporate initiatives that require both internal and external awareness/promotion.
Development and execution of projects and project planning
Budget management
Ability to negotiate
Strong communication skills (written/verbal/online)
