Description

Employment Site: Office location is negotiable, preference within Northern Saskatchewan Administrative District.

Are you passionate about recreation and community development? Do you enjoy connecting, inspiring and educating communities and recreation leaders?

If you answered yes, then the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA) would love to hear from you! We are seeking a motivated and passionate leader to become part of our Team, who support and enhance the recreation industry to improve the quality of life in communities. This Full-time Permanent position will advance the work of SPRA in Northern Saskatchewan.

Our ideal candidate for this position will have qualifications, matching or equivalent, to those obtained through:
- A Diploma or Degree in Kinesiology, Recreation Administration, Community Development or a related field of study.
- A minimum of two years of recreation or community development experience. A strong knowledge and experience in working with Indigenous populations and representative agencies. Experience working with volunteers, Boards and Committees in the parks and recreation industry is considered an asset.
