Cyclone Metal Products is currently recruiting a full time experienced Blaster/Powder Coater Operator for full time employment. Job duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Qualifications:
-Blasting and Powder Coating experience - 1 year
willing to train the right candidate
-Canadian citizen
-Ability to speak, read & write English
-Able to read and work with an imperial tape measure
-Must have a valid driver's license & reliable transportation
-Basic computer skills
-Attention to detail
-Quick learner
-Willingness to assist other plant personel during slow periods
-Ability to work overtime as needed
-Comfortable working in a small business environment a motivated team player with a "CAN DO ATTITUDE" that is able to troubleshoot focus and organize work area

Job Duties:
-Must be dependable, reliable and accountable
-To perform all phases of the powder coating operation and set up.
-Able to work and perform required tasks unsupervised
-Monitor quality and make the necessary adjustments
-Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notify supervisor to obtain additional resources.
-High attention to detail and ability to inspect own work
-Understand and maintain safe work practices
-Correctly identify and label production parts
-Operate hand tools
-Complete all the necessary paperwork and data collection activities
-Maintain a clean and safe workplace
-Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of essential machine maintenance
-Physical capabilities
-Frequent bending pushing and lifting of 50 plus pounds
-Standing and/or walking for extended periods
