Primary Function:
This is a technical support position responsible for providing technical and analytical information in designated areas, including conducting research as required, for the FSIN Womens Secretariat and the Saskatchewan First Nations Womens Commission (the Womens Commission) with a focus on missing and murdered Indigenous women, men, boys and girls; develop written documentation for briefings, reports, presentations, updates and forward planning.
Report on Womens Secretariat activities and initiatives to the Womens Commission and working/advisory groups as assigned.
Maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of government, both First Nations and non-First Nations.
Identify all stakeholders in terms of obtaining feedback and input on work being completed through Womens Secretariat initiatives.

Position Requirements:
Education: Undergraduate degree in social sciences or five (5) years of related experience and skills in community relations and human services.
Cultural competence: Must have knowledge and understanding of First Nations customs, culture, ceremony and history.
