Kroeker Farms Limited is accepting applications for general farm workers for the 2022 season on our seed potato farm in Riverhurst, SK. These workers are responsible for preparing the 2021 crop for market, planting, hand harvesting, assisting with mechanized harvesting, and preparing storage facilities for the 2022 crop. We anticipate this work will begin February 15th, 2022.
This is a seasonal, full-time position. The work involves a lot of walking, stooping, bending and lifting. Applicants must also be able to lift up to 75 lbs. The rate of pay is $11.81/hour with a potential for bonuses.
Desired qualities: Individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are good team players and have the ability to focus.
No education or experience is required, though experience driving farm trucks would be an asset.
