Position and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Process Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient operation of all process areas through the supervision of process operators and dewatering crews. You will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating and scheduling process operations and project tasks in order to meet production requirements. You will also be responsible for identifying and developing continual improvement projects to support the needs of the operation to achieve the safety, environment, community and financial performance goals of this state-of-the-art mining operation. Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Seven years of relevant work experience in progressive milling or process positions
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
Effective leadership skills
Solid team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
Willingness to give and receive honest feedback
Will be required to work both on surface and underground
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Assets:
Previous supervisory experience
Level 1 and 2 potable water treatment and Level 1 wastewater treatment certification
