The Lands Branch with the Ministry of Agriculture has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join their team in the Swift Current office.
As a Land Management Specialist, you will:
Manage a district to assist clients with obtaining and managing their crown leases for agricultural and industrial use;
Assess and report on agricultural crown land range health;
Ensure client compliance through The Provincial Lands Act and The Provincial Lands (Agriculture) Regulations, Lands Branch Policies, and the terms and conditions of lease clauses; and
Manage the districts vacant land portfolio.

You will work with a variety of users including agricultural producers, oil and gas companies, and recreational users.
Typically, the competencies required for this position would be obtained through completion of a degree in Agriculture or Environmental Sciences. You must be eligible for membership as a professional Agrologist with the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.
