Dynamo Electric is a design-build and maintenance-oriented company that specializes in power and control solutions for industrial and utility clients. Within this niche market we can provide a broad scope of services which allow us to be a complete technical solution provider for our clients.
Our Regina office requires an experienced CAD operator to provide support for the engineering consulting aspects of our business. By joining our engineering team, you will be exposed to the CAD aspects of both in-house electrical design functions as well as field-orientated installation assignments.
Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide computer-based design and drafting services to the three core technical groups in the organization: engineering, technical services, and electrical installation/construction projects.
As the central or common CAD person for these multiple groups you will monitor, manage, maintain consistency, and continuously improve the organizations CAD standards and drawing management systems across all drawings and projects.
You will be exposed to the CAD aspects of both in-house electrical design functions as well as field-orientated installation assignments.
Qualifications:
Degree/diploma in CAD/CAM (or equivalent), or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology with CAD design experience.
Experience specifically with electrical design and drawings would be an advantage.
Experience & knowledge in IT systems and support.
You possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to work under tight time constraints, adapt to change, work alone, as well as flourish in a team environment.
