Early Years Family Resource Centres bring services and information to one location at no cost for all families with young children prenatal to age 5. They are prevention-oriented and work to welcome ALL parents and young children in the community. By providing families with positive early learning experiences and opportunities to improve their parenting skills, Early Years Family Resource Centres contribute to positive brain development and the building blocks necessary for children and families to succeed.

Preference will be given to the candidate who has a combination of the following experience and training: Early Childhood Certification or equivalent experience and education, Valid First Aid/ CPR, drivers licence and ability to travel. Experience working in early childhood education with children 0-5 years old and their parents/caregivers, Experience facilitating programs with both adults and children, The ability to work flexible hours, Be self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision, Candidate must be a responsible, mature adult who models positive behaviour & lifestyle, Candidate should demonstrate an understanding and enthusiasm for the importance of early childhood development and the importance of early year family centres, Excellent computer skills with the ability to use multiple programs such as excel, etc. and a vast knowledge of social media platforms, Ability to speak Cree is considered an asset A CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK WITH VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK AND DRIVERS ABSTRACT MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE RESUMES TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW.
