Description

The Controller position is integral to the short- and long-term success of PAMI and its 2020-25 strategic plan and is a critical member of the Business Enablement Team.  Reporting to the CFO, this business partner will lead the finance function, being conscientious of the voice of the customer, while at the same time driving operational excellence. The leadership of the Controller will align the finance function with the keys to the success of the organization outlined in the strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting, financial and banking functions and processes
- Collaborates with the CFO in the effective coordination of the annual budgeting process and the period forecasting updates
- Establish and maintain the processes to meet deadlines in timely manner.  This includes leading effective financial close and the delivery of critical reports
- Collaborate with the CFO in the development and preparation of internal management reports and Audit and Finance and Board of Director reports.
- Subject matter expert on financial systems and the interfaces impacting the flow of financial information throughout the organization
- Delivery of custom reports required to support the needs of key business partners
- Preparation of statistical reports required by various governmental organizations
- Developing a relationship with the external auditor is critical, along with the effective delivery of audit requirements on an annual basis
- Act as a key finance business partner throughout the organization
- Collaborate with the CFO to ensure that ad hoc requests are supported through the organization

Qualifications:
- Commerce or Administration degree with specialization in accounting
- CPA designation is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience within a similar position
