As one of Canada's leading manufacturers of fire-retardant garments, Actionwear Saskatoon Inc. is proud to be serving the mining, oil and gas, forestry, construction, and electrical industries for nearly 50 years.
Actionwear has a full-time career opportunity for a production laborer within our manufacturing facility. Our ideal candidate would be a physically fit, organized, and detail orientated person.
We are looking for a person with integrity, who is dependable, self-motivated, and a quick learner. Preference given to those with some sewing experience.
On the job training will be provided.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Assist in various process of manufacturing
Organize fabric pieces for further processing
Assist with manual cutting of materials, as needed
Skills and Abilities:
Read, write, and speak English
Follow written and verbal instructions
Complete tasks with minimal supervision
Communicate effectively with peers and management
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
Frequent standing, bending & stretching with legs, shoulders, and back
Hours: Monday through Thursday 7 AM to 4 PM, Friday 7 AM to 1:30 PM
