Casual Educational Assistant
            
Locations:        
Weyburn, SK
Estevan, SK
Radville, SK
Wilcox, SK

Hours:        6 hours/day for full day or 3 hours/day for half day
Rate of Pay:    Per SEIU-West Agreement

We are accepting applications for Casual Educational Assistants who are interested in working casual hours on an as needed basis.

Required Skills/Training:    
    Minimum Grade 12 education.
    Post-secondary courses in programs such as Early Childhood Development, Educational Assistant, Personal Care Aide or similar related areas and/or related experience would be considered an asset.
    Training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Physical Assault Response would be considered an asset.
    Experience with, and ability to handle, high needs children with a variety of emotional needs would be considered an asset.
    Experience with, and ability to handle, the needs of Pre-Kindergarten children would be considered an asset.
    Based on the needs of individual students, ability to provide assistance in occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physical therapy, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring and transportation could be required.
    First Aid/CPR would be considered an asset.
    Possess a current and valid drivers license.
  
Requirements:    
    Familiarity and understanding of the practices of the Roman Catholic Faith
    Recent (within 6 months) Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check upon employment
