Precision Agricultural Services Inc., a subsidiary of Cargill Limited, is a full-service agricultural retail business with 4 facilities located in southeast Saskatchewan, specializing in Crop Nutrition, Crop Protection, and Pedigreed Seed.
As the Facility Operator you will coordinate and support operations, sales, and customer service activities and day-to-day operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of the granular fertilizer facility, bulk seed facility, and agri-chemical warehouses, including shipping and receiving, inventory management and maintenance
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Maintain yard and office
- Oversee inventory control including completing regular inventory counts and maintaining inventory records, resolving discrepancies, shipping and receiving, and completing projects
Required Qualifications:
- Must be legally entitled to work for Precision-ag in Canada and be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Excellent interpersonal and English communication (verbal/written) skills
- Possession of valid Class 5 drivers license
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment
- Ability to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
- High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays or different shifts with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of TDG, WHMIS, Forklift Operator and First Aid/CPR
- Computer skills
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Production or plant experience
