Duties and responsibilities.

Conducted daily pre-shifts with each shift to communicate expectations
Provide an energetic and enthusiastic atmosphere
Responsible for all aspects of the day to day floor management
Responsible for gift certificate and cash floats
Be the liaison to the franchise Head Office
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Recruit staff and oversee staff training
Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Ensure restaurant is compliant with all safe food handling, health & safety, WHMIS and any applicable governmental agency regulations or requirements
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Negotiate arrangements with clients for catering
