Description

The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement supplies services to the public and other ministries that support efforts to build the economy and make a better life for all Saskatchewan people. Services include central property management services including government buildings, accommodations, transportation and information technology.

The Opportunity

The North Property Management Branch requires a service-oriented individual to join their team as a Facility Service Worker located in the northern community of Buffalo Narrows.  This position will be responsible for performing a variety of operations and maintenance, cleaning, grounds keeping, and security procedures.

Additional responsibilities include:

-The operation and maintenance of all HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related systems and equipment;
-Indoor/outdoor maintenance including snow removal, lawn care, and securing building and grounds as required; and
-Operate heavy-duty power cleaning equipment, grounds equipment (manual and powered).

The successful candidate will be reliable, adaptable and dependable in order to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Ministry. You will also be approachable, co-operative and flexible when dealing with clients and colleagues; and attentive to detail-oriented in order to provide quality custodial services.
