Job Description: The Outreach Coordinator for Children's Subspecialty Programs is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of Children's Subspecialty Outpatient clinics for Prince Albert and Northern provincial regions. The incumbent will liaise with multidisciplinary clinic teams of the Pediatric Outpatient Department (POPD) at the JPCH to determine logistical and operational infrastructure requirements for supporting the planning and development of clinics to be offered in outreach locations.
The Coordinator contributes to the Saskatchewan Health Authority's values of Safety, Accountability, Respect, Collaboration and Compassion and the commitment to a philosophy of Patient and Family Centred Care as well as working towards the goal of connected care for children and families of Saskatchewan.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Current CPR Certification
Experience
5 years of recent experience in pediatrics.
One year of leadership experience.
Recent Experience in research, quality monitoring and evaluation.
Recent Experience with program planning and development is an asset.
Other Information
Travel within the province of Saskatchewan is required

112 hours of work in a 6 week rotation.
