Summary:
Reporting to the Regional Clinical Manager, you will be providing in-person counselling services for LifeWorks' Employee Assistance Program (EAP), in a LifeWorks office.
Responsibilities:
Provide short-term counselling to a diverse set of clients dealing with various issues, within the terms and conditions of the clients EAP;
Provide excellent clinical services and embrace LifeWorks' culture of continuous learning;
Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by LifeWorks' clinical models.

Requirements:
Masters Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or Indigenous Social Work;
In good standing with professional College or mental health Association;
Experience with Indigenous / First Nations population is an asset;
Experience with college staff is an asset;
Ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused approach;
Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases;
Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle a large volume of clients;
Must be flexible to work day and evening shifts.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Membership in a provincial association of social workers
