Facility: WEYBURN MENTAL HEALTH / PUBLIC HEALTH
Job Description: Reporting to the Regional Director of Public Health or his/her designate, the Public Health Inspector assists in the planning and delivery of public health inspection services. The incumbents fulfill the requirements of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Public Health Inspectors are required to exercise considerable independent judgment in the course of a diverse program delivery. Program aspects include extensive legislation application and enforcement; health hazard assessment and abatement, communicable disease prevention and investigation, health promotion and education.
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 4 drivers license
Bachelor Degree in Environmental Health
Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada), CPHI
Experience
One year experience in Public Health Inspection preferred including knowledge and skill in the practice, methods and techniques of public health inspection.
