We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Life Enhancement team at Trinity Manor Stonebridge in Saskatoon location. We are currently seeking applicants who have a combination of weekday, evening and weekend availability. This is a part-time,contract position. Hours of shift range from 5-25 hrs/wk.
The individual must:
-be compassionate and patient with residents and staff, and enjoy interacting with older adults. -possess good oral and written communication skills that will be utilized with coworkers and residents of the community.
-successfully be able to meet deadlines and have the ability to multi-task, troubleshoot, work well under pressure, and generate positive PR for Trinity Manor at Stonebridge and the Life Enhancement Department at all times.
-successfully be able to navigate and operate the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as Apple and Android products to aid in activities. The ability to embrace change, adapt, think outside of the box, and function within a dynamic environment will be key drivers for success in this role. Extroverts and outgoing introverts have typically done well in this position.
Other requirements include:
A clean criminal record check with a vulnerable sector search
Must possess or be able to obtain Standard First Aid/ CPR C certification
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
The ability to lift 25 lbs
Under the supervision of the Director of Life Enhancement you will provide the following services:
Leading activities, teaching classes, facilitating events and outings
Organizing house concerts for residents
Administrative tasks such as updating and advertising the Life Enhancement weekly schedule
Assist with keeping activity areas neat and tidy
Organizing and maintaining Life Enhancement inventory
A variety of daily duties to keep the workspace functional
Reporting incidents and any feedback to the Director of Life Enhancement
