We are currently seeking applicants who have daytime, evening, and weekend availability. This is a part-time position. The hours of shift range from 10-35 hrs/week.
Duties & Responsibilities
-Lead activities, teach classes, facilitate events and outings
-Administrative tasks such as updating the team calendar/schedule, advertising activity offerings, etc.
-Administrative support to the Director of Life Enhancement
-A variety of daily duties to keep work space functional
-Organizational skills to be able to keep track of expenses and
-Reporting incidents and feedback to the Director of Life Enhancement
Qualifications
-Clean criminal record check with a vulnerable sector search
-Must possess or be able to obtain Standard First Aid/CPR C certification
-Be able to navigate and operate the Microsoft Office Suite (including Microsoft Excel), Apple and Android products to aid in activities
-Enjoy interacting with older adults
-Be compassionate and patient with residents, team members and other staff
-Possess good oral and written communication skills that will be utilized with coworkers and residents of the community
-Able to embrace change, adapt to new work environments, and think outside of the box
-Able to lift 25 lbs
-Able to work independently and in a team setting
-Must have a positive attitude and possess emotional intelligence
-Extroverts and outgoing introverts have typically done well in this position
