Facility: MENTAL HEALTH - SHR
Job Description: This position reports to the Manager of Adult Community and Rehabilitation Services in Mental Health and Addictions. This position is responsible for the provision of clinical assessment, case management and interventions, as well as health promotion and prevention services to clients 18 years or older experiencing problems related to mental health. The Community Mental Health Nurse will also provide coverage for other rehabilitation team members, group facilitation, and work within the context of the interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications

Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Bachelor Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Psychiatric Nursing
Valid drivers license and the ability to travel both within the Region and Provincially.
Experience
A minimum of two (2) years experience as a nurse in a Mental Health environment in the previous five (5) years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to communicate with and maintain an effective working relationship with clients from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds
Conflict management, negotiation, and change management skills.
Demonstrates highly developed clinical assessment skills
Demonstrate flexibility by adjusting workload to accommodate client needs in a manner that ensures positive client relations
Ability to be self directed and exercise independent nursing judgment in a community-based environment
Adhere to established Mental Health Services policies and procedures
Possess a sound knowledge of the nursing process and its application to indivi
