Description

-Assist management team with financial planning and projections as well as strategic vision for company growth.
-Direct all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
-Drive implementation of new ERP system
-Analysis of company's financials, aligning profits, costs and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to management team.
-Build an accounting department, based on company needs. Assist with talent acquisition in line with department objectives and needs.
-Create and implement accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance within the company.
-Coordinate with management and leadership to increase transparency, integrity of financials.
-Provide and execute strategic planning; assist with securing capital financing options to support company growth needs.
-Developing and coordinating all relationships with lending/financial institutions.
-Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
-Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
-Coordinating, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as well as tax schedules, returns, etc.
-Oversee vendor communication and plan management with insurance providers and ensuring compliance.
-Manage all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, provincial, local, payroll, property and other applicable taxes.
