Canadian Deafblind Association seeks a strategic, hands-on Executive Director with demonstrated leadership and fundraising experience. The Executive Director leads a team of full and part-time employees and manages the organizations $2 million budget. Experience with labour relations and bargaining. The candidate must be able to oversee fundraising, programming, community relations, and financial activities. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and works closely with the board chair and board committee leaders. This position requires an individual who can build and maintain strong relationships with funders and other community leaders and who has excellent management experience. The candidate should also have expertise in residential services and/or a working knowledge of best practice services for people with deaf/blindness and other disabilities.
