Description

Southeast Regional Library is seeking an individual for the Part-time position of Shipping/Receiver at their Headquarters location in Weyburn.  Individuals in this position will work 3-4 days a week and are responsible for shipping and receiving, sorting, and routing functions between branches and other delivery locations, other library systems, and the general public. Other duties include: Processing outgoing mail and notices; Overseeing the operation and maintenance of the regional librarys vehicle fleet; Keeping the sidewalks, garage, and loading area clear of snow, ice, and dirt; Basic maintenance of Headquarters building; Acting as the backup Courier Driver.  
They must have a Grade XII diploma; General automotive knowledge and mechanical skills are an asset; physical fitness allowing the lifting and moving of boxes of library materials, mail bins, etc. (up to 25 kg); accuracy in maintaining records; ability to operate office and computer equipment; good communication skills; ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others; must possess a valid drivers license and a satisfactory SGI driving abstract.
