Due to continued growth, Brandt is currently seeking a Manager, Financial Systems in our Regina location. The Manager, Financial Systems, in conjunction with the Divisional Controller, is responsible to support the Corporations Finance department through the development, maintenance and enhancement of the Corporations financial systems. In addition, the Manager, Financial Systems will help to ensure accurate financial data and the timeliness of accounting cycles by assisting with complex data queries, reporting and troubleshooting financial data issues. They will also play a significant role in corporate projects, providing expertise on financial aspects of systems processes, internal controls and building efficiencies. The Manager, Financial Systems will work closely with team members in the Finance Division as well as liaise/consult with the System Division and other operational areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Provides advanced technical and operational support for financial business systems and processes

Required Experience:

A degree or diploma in Computer science or Accounting
A sound understanding of accounting principles
Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in a financial systems environment
Working knowledge of financial aspects of enterprise accounting software, such as Baan, Oracle Financials or SAP, and database query software
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently, within a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively in order to establish effective working relationships and problem solve
Able to work well under pressure, prioritize and meet set deadlines
