Description

The YMCA of Regina is currently seeking a Director of Marketing and Communications. The director will be responsible and accountable for the creation or distribution of all internal and external communications for the association including emergent issues and time sensitive priority communications. This role will also play an integral role in building and engaging the Associations membership base and creating effective strategies that will promote the long-term growth of the YMCA.

What youll be doing:
* Develops, produces and distributes marketing materials and program information necessary to promote YMCA programs in accordance with marketing plan
* Work closely with General Manager of Funds Development to ensure successful execution of all areas of the monthly marketing and communications
* Acts as the Associations Brand Advocate which involves overseeing and monitoring content presented in all Y marketing materials and ensuring use of the YMCA brand.
* Creates an annual communications plan that coincides with programming goals. Plans a mix of promotional approaches to increase participation in YMCA programs.
* Responsible for web content and creation of branded content in key areas of the Associations website and social media outlets

What youll need:
* Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Preference given to those with experience in emergency related communications
* Experience in website management including creation and maintenance
* High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative or other desktop publishing software
* Experience with various social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Hootsuite
