The Humboldt Housing Authority is looking for an independent, self-starter who enjoys working alone and amongst tenants for the role of Maintenance Technician.
If you are skilled in property maintenance, take pride in your work, are available to work up to 37.5 hours a week and participate in a rotating on-call system, wed like to hear from you!
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work on:
-Building maintenance service & repair
-Vacancy preparation
-Grounds maintenance & snow removal
-Maintain housing authority equipment and inventory
What were looking for:
-Experience in repairing building mechanical equipment, custodial & maintenance work
-General knowledge of carpentry, boilers, plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical & painting
-Effective communicator with tenants, housing authority staff, contractors and suppliers
-Adherence to Federal and Provincial OH&S Act and Regulations
-An independent, task oriented, self-starter
What youll need:
-Valid drivers license and reliable truck
-Ability to use hand tools
-Recognition of and respect for peoples diversity and individual differences
-Successfully complete a criminal background and vulnerability checks
The salary range for this position is dependent on experience.
Work is done at various work sites.
