Co-operatives have a long history of serving members in Western Canada. In the early 20th century, people worked together to create retail co-operatives in many towns in the four western Canadian provinces (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia). The Meadow Lake Co-op was established March 2nd, 1945 with the opening of our first location, located on First Street East. Meadow Lake is a community of just over 6000 people in northwest Saskatchewan, serving a trading area of 35000 people.
Meadow Lake Co-operative Association Limited invites applications for the position of a Grocery Clerk.
The Grocery Clerk is responsible for attending to all grocery store needs. You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service and drive customer loyalty.
Sanitize store carts and direct customers coming into the grocery store.
Meet all Meadow Lake Co-op guidelines on hygiene, presentation and customer service.
Bag purchases for customers at the till or for delivery.
Stock and rotate products on display.
Be knowledgeable and answer questions about products and their source.
Participate in maintaining location image and housekeeping standards.
Provide positive consumer experience to all customers.
