Your Day to Day:
Perform oil & filter changes
Sell lubrication, safety inspection & related services
Maintain regular customer records, follow up periodically by phone, email or reminders
Complete multi-point inspections & mark required items on check list as required for the Service Advisor
Drain oil from crankcases & refill with required amounts
Replace oil/air filters
Inspect fluid levels, replace, or replenish as needed
Check tire pressure & add air as needed
Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricant
Mount/balance tires, rotations, & repairs
Communicate needed parts to parts department
Report defects or malfunctions to supervisor
Document work performed on repair orders
Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned
Ensure customers' cars are kept clean
Immediately notify Service Advisor of changes to appearance/condition of vehicles
Operate tools/equipment in a safe manner
Report safety issues immediately to management
What You Bring to the Table:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read/comprehend instructions
GM knowledge, certified training and/or experience is an asset
Familiarity with ADP & CDK programs is an asset
Efficient problem-solving skills & a good personality
Excellent communication/organization skills
Ability to work independently & as part of a team
A desire to learn more about cars
Strong work ethic
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
A valid driver's license and safe driving history is required
