The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for planning and implementing daily activities for children between the ages of 6 weeks - 12 years old.
Qualifications:
Prefer ECE 1, 2, 3 or equivalent. Willing to work towards a certificate or diploma - funding may be available for classes
Responsible, good team player, good communication skills, able to plan fun activities, based on children's needs and interests, able to take initiative, willing to assist with housekeeping duties, decision making, problem solving, First Aid, CPR required or willing to obtain within 3 months.
Successful applicants will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.

- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
- Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs
- Assess the developmental level of children

- Maintain day care supplies and equipment
- Assist in housekeeping duties
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
