Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining a current preventative maintenance schedule
Keep all building and equipment records up to date and organized
Carrying out prompt emergency repair of equipment and infrastructure to secure the best possible availability for production
Regular visual inspection of equipment and buildings (main plant, shipping, Coquet and Bourgault building) to ensure they are always in good condition
Attend Flip Chart meetings to ensure all maintenance issues are dealt with
Regular communication with all Departments on related repair and maintenance issues
Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized
Improve operational safety
Willing to put in overtime as needed
Share of on-call duties
Preparing and coordinating for periodic R/M Shutdowns
Assist in Responsibilities of:
Maintaining a necessary inventory of spare parts and material
Assist in fabrication and installation of new equipment or modifications
Snow removal from around plant exits
Objectives:
Optimize the reliability of equipment and infrastructure
Control costs
Schedule work efficiently
Regulatory compliance
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Journeyperson Millwright Certificate or Interprovincial Millwright Red Seal Certification
Minimum 4 years of experience in a production environment or similar industry
