Job Summary:
Luxury Granite is hiring a countertop installer. This position is with a company that specializes in the manufacturing and installation of granite and quartz countertops.
The company is growing and requires top talent to join the team. You will be responsible for travelling to different sites and assisting in the installation of countertops, vanities or other products manufactured at the facility.
The Role:
Loading, unloading, and installing countertops
Handling and care of tools related to installation process
Lifting product which is typically heavy and taking special care to avoid any damage
Willing to work in the fabrication shop as an integral part of the trainee process
Working as part of a team and contributing ideas to make the work effort better.
Attention to Detail.
Ability to drive a half ton and flatdeck trailer and drive a forklift is an asset.
Using a measuring tape and working with fractions
Working in a safe manner and avoiding workplace hazards
1 year minimum construction experience is requested.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Heavy lifting and diligence to ensure that product does not get damaged
Ability to tolerate a noisy work environment; however, hearing protection is provided
Good communication skills
Drivers license is a must.
