We are looking for a Journeyman Welder to join our team! Standard Machine offers the opportunity to work in a clean, warm, safe, indoor environment featuring interesting and varied work in a shop environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Journeyman Welder
- 6-9 years experience
- CWB certified
- Knowledgeable on weld design
- Commitment to providing outstanding service
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality
- Reliable track record at previous employment

THE JOB:
- Write welding data sheets
- Complete accurate work inspections
- Setup own work and check lower-level setups without supervision
- Advanced rigging of heavy equipment
- Weld materials in all positions, with all processes and sizes of wire
- Fabricate all sizes and shapes of parts working in tight tolerances
- Efficient and cost-effective layout of parts on plate
- Supervise small projects, including shift-change communication
- Troubleshoot within area and on machines
