Description

The Container Guy YouTube Channel requires a videographer with experience in digital video capture, audio capture, and video editing. This is for in-the-field shoots, in-studio shoots, and b-roll/interviews.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Camera Operating (recording footage with high-quality audio and video).

Ability to shoot video and/or record audio in environments ranging from boardrooms to outdoor job sites.

Ability to manipulate and edit video pieces in a way that is seamless to the audience.


Required Skills:

Education and/or Experience as a Videographer/Editor.

Solid experience with digital technology and PC based editing software packages (Adobe Creative Cloud Premiere/After-Effects and Photoshop)

Creating shot lists and organizing video shoots.

Set Decorating and Lighting.

Experience with operating a Blackmagic 6k Pro or similar style of digital camera is preferred.

Post-production sound and video editing using Adobe Premiere or Davinci Resolve in a PC environment.

Can take direction, instruction, can work independently, and with a team.

This is a government grant-funded position. The Youth Employment and Skills Strategy program (YESS) is the Government of Canada's commitment to help young people get the information and gain the skills, work experience and abilities they need to make a successful transition into the labour market. Recent graduates of video production-related courses, even with no work experience, are encouraged to apply.
