Reporting to the Director of Operations & Community Programs (DOCP) or Designate, as a member of the OOS management Team, you will be accountable for successfully assisting the DOCP in planning and overseeing the efficient and effective operations of all support services (food services, environmental, laundry, supplies and maintenance). Your duties will include:
Leading teams and oversight of day-to-day operations.
Oversees the in-house equipment maintenance activities for WBSCH.
Responsible for the preventative maintenance program throughout the facility
Accountable for preparing and overseeing general property and building envelop maintenance tasks
Facilitate and schedule repair of equipment malfunctions that require outside contractor, when repairs cannot be done in house.
Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality, resident-centered services,
Responsible for adhering to Food and Nutrition guidelines in a health care setting.
Preference will be given to an individual with formal certification and experience in at least two of the following areas:
In progress of or completion of Firemans Certificate or Power Engineer Certificate will be considered an asset.
Experience in maintenance
Building management and plant operations
Expertise in infection prevention and control
Food and Nutrition Management
Best practices for environmental cleaning in health care facilities
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a health-care setting
