Westridge is seeking a Project Coordinator who will assist with the management of commercial / civil / industrial construction projects upwards of $100M. Please see complete job posting at www.westridge.ca/careers.
Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager and Site Superintendent with the following tasks:
Meeting minutes
RFI - Request for Information
Estimating
Project planning and scheduling
Review the project drawings and specifications and address possible cost savings and potential construction problems
Ensure project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policy are being met
Subcontractor tender reviews and awards
Shop drawing review and coordination
Project coordination
Maintain safety standards
Conduct site tours including safety inspections
Consultant/owner liaison
Contract administration including the change management process
Manage financial aspects of contracts
Quality Assurance/Quality Control
Monthly progress invoicing
Project closeout
Project estimating when time permits
LEED implementation and documentation if applicable
Qualifications
Civil or structural engineering degree, civil engineering or architectural technology diploma OR minimum 5 years experience in a trade-based field position
Project coordination or management experience on commercial/civil projects would be considered an asset
Good communication, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
Thorough understanding of all facets of construction
