Louis Dreyfus Company in Yorkton, SK is looking for a fulltime Material Handler Shift Leader at our Yorkton SK Canola Crushing Facility.
The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma as well as general knowledge of oilseed processing operations.
This position is responsible for:
*Supervising all aspects of rail, seed receiving process from inbound grading to binning, meal load out, oil load out, meal storage and oil storage as well as seed conservation.
*Seed receiving at a high capacity of unloading and segregates/assigns inbound seed to storage bins/tanks according to grade specifications and type of seed avoiding contaminations.
*Load out of Oil and Meal accordingly with customer specifications and logistic requirements.
*Responsible for monitoring operations and supervising production staff in their assigned areas, the goals of this position are met and that the plant operates in a profitable and safe fashion. This is done by operating and managing the mechanical assets at the plant and working closely with the Material Handler Operations Supervisor, sales, logistics, production areas and local suppliers and Production Managers of other areas.
