Description

Responsible for supervising and delivering community relations activities and initiatives.
Provides leadership and support to the Community and the Engagement team.
Oversees community engagement events internally and externally, including unit briefings, presentations to community organizations & our 3 treatment centers, and liaisons with community champions".
-Directly supervises the ongoing community projects and Special Events Coordinator and supports on site activities relating to community engagement
Ensures effective overall administration and sound fiscal management of program goals and objectives.
Enhances professional expertise through membership in applicable professional organizations and participation in continuing education related to assigned responsibilities for MACSI clients
Basic website design & programming. Social media management.
Proven experience in community development, outreach, program planning, communications, material development, administration and program evaluation, writing and knowledge exchange.
Extensive experience in media relations and issues management.
Knowledge of social media best practice.
Develop, manage implementation and evaluate a marketing and communication strategy for MACSI to increase revenue, build positive brand recognition of MACSI
Provide strategic direction to the Executive Director and key volunteers, and support them in executing annual work plans.
Write compelling, evidence-based reports, white papers, issues analysis documents, media releases and information packages, and website content tailored to communicate effectively with different audience groups and motivate action.
Manage special projects, including defining project objectives, scope, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements and sources
Any additional duties or projects as required by MACSI Executive Director. (or senior management)
Engages in public speaking, and acts as a spokesperson of MACSI per the advise of ED
