Facility: MENTAL HEALTH OUTPATIENT
Job Description: Provides individual, group and family mental health and addictions treatment in outpatient and community settings. Minimum two days a week evening.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
experience in mental health and addictions services an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability and willingness to travel and work flexible hours including evenings/weekend as required
Ability to accurately assess addictions and make appropriate recovery plans
Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
Ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of professional conduct and judgement and ethical behaviour in the provision of counselling services and other areas of practice
A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients, utilizing sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity and responsibility
Ability to administer and interpret various scales to determine a client's mental status.
Ability to utilize social work practice frameworks, theories and current evidence-based practice in the provision of a broad range of social work assessments and direct mental health clinical services (including individual, family, and group therapy).

Field Hours

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
