Essential Job Functions
1. Prepare bi-weekly, special and commission payroll which includes reviewing hours, preparing deduction schedules, inputting data into HRIS, ensuring tax reports are accurate, and preparing pension remittance.
2. Process and ensure Year-End Payroll requirements are met.
3. Assist with PIER (Pensionable and Insurable Earnings) review & taxable benefits preparation and review.
4. Administer employee benefits programs; ensuring HRIS and benefits system are updated with the most recent employee information.
5. Assist with Employee Orientation and on-boarding.
6. Communicate with employees and management regarding payroll and benefits questions or concerns.  
7. Support organizational compliance with federal and local regulation.
8. Track Human Resource Metrics and report findings to management.
9. Develop and generate reports as necessary.
10. Completing various wage and salary surveys
11. Provide recruitment and selection assistance for all non-executive positions
12. Review, amend and update policies
13. Manage employee engagement programs through planning and executing event, service awards, recognition events and travel.
14. Maintain employee relations by offering support to all levels.
