Elections Saskatchewan is looking for a results-oriented, deadline-focused Director!

The Director Electoral Operations is responsible for the operation of elections and maintaining election readiness by leading and/or participating in the planning and preparation for such events.

This includes responsibility for the design, development and management of a competency-based recruitment, training and development framework that will enable Elections Saskatchewan to recruit, deploy and retain a qualified and skilled professional workforce that will enhance electoral performance.

The Director manages operational programs, functions and activities and provides oversight for the day-to-day implementation and coordination of pre-and post-event delivery across constituencies in Saskatchewan.

The work of the position includes:

* working with the Deputy Chief Electoral Officer-Electoral Operations on strategic initiatives and projects;

* ensuring all staff and workers understand the Elections Saskatchewans values, mission, vision, policies and other related information;

* planning election events and related initiatives to ensure readiness for the event(s);

* working with other service lines across the organization and participating as a member of the management team.

If you have education related to and experience in a leadership role, have management and electoral-operation experience commensurate with the responsibilities of this position, are an effective decision-maker, problem-solver, and communicator, are flexible/adaptable with changing priorities and workload, you may be interested in this position.
