Based out of Saskatoon, the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of plant operations including production, continuous improvement, and safety.

The Role:
Providing leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the facility
Ensuring timely and cost-effective production, while maintaining high-quality standards. Establish and ensure production standards and schedules are maintained to meet company & customer
Analyze data related to productivity and efficiency in the production area, to ensure operational cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement risk management strategies, as appropriate, to reduce cost and increase production efficiencies
Provide input for capital expenditures for new equipment or facility upgrades
Developing and maintaining cooperation and teamwork while leading a group of people; articulating a mission or vision that motivates others toward the accomplishment of goals and objectives.
Effectively adapting to tight deadlines, heavy workloads and sudden or frequent changes in priority in order to accomplish objectives.
Encourage cooperative decision-making while evaluating alternatives and assessing advantages/risks; promote timely, decisive and effective decision making.
