Our team is looking for a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join the Total Rewards team at Affinity! As the ideal candidate, you will deliver payroll and benefits administration while using your growth mindset to optimize systems and processes.

What youll do:
- Review payroll and benefits submissions, analyze inputs and validate to internal practices
- Collaborate with benefits and pension service providers regarding adjustments to employee benefits
- Proactively identify and implement efficiencies including using technology to improve processes and reporting
- Process the year end payroll, with reconciliations and adjustments, including those related to taxable benefits
- Communicate with managers and internal groups for the initiation of employee changes throughout various systems

What youve got:
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in payroll processing, employee benefits, payroll standards and principles
- Working knowledge of payroll/benefits systems or HR Information System (HRIS)
- Ability to leverage data and technology to implement leading practices in all areas of work
