Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Administrator to complement our team. Working in a high-tech software development office, the right candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day technical and maintenance work necessary to keep our staff productive. He or she will facilitate not only the necessities of a functioning office, but also Vendastas workplace environment - our pride and joy! So dont be surprised if after youve assembled some shelves and diagnosed some software issues, you find yourself rigging up an AV system for an office StarCraft tournament.
Responsibilities
Maintain inventory of and order supplies, equipment, and software as needed
Create & manage user accounts and perform software installations
Diagnose & correct a variety of day-to-day problems (hardware, mechanical, building maintenance) and provide desktop support
Order and maintain an inventory of workspace-related furniture, assembling new items as necessary
Assist with planning and execution of employee workspace moves
Work closely with our IT department to ensure the smooth functioning of office technology
Be a knowledgeable point of contact for outside parties working with us on technical and maintenance issues
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 2 years related experience
Skill with power tools
Mechanical and electrical aptitude and a general understanding of parts, equipment, tools, drawings, etc.
Strong communication and time management skills
Very strong computer skills
Drivers license and vehicle
Experience in entry level IT (considered an asset)
