Duties and responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Senior Supervisor, the successful applicant will perform production duties and may assist in the coordination and delivery of training to program clients.

Duties include:
-  Performing production activities and operating production machinery including: Mitre saws, up cut saws, table saw, air-nailers, pallet jacks, multi rip saw, banding machines, and material handling equipment.
-  Assisting in job planning, supervision and delegation of duties to area clients
-  Ensuring area procedures are followed to ensure product quality, production efficiency and safe working conditions
-  Shipping and receiving materials
-  Assisting with inventory counts
-  Performing production activities and operating production machinery in additional Training Centre Departments as required.
-  Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Senior Supervisor

Qualifications:
Education:
-  Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Experience:
-  Industrial, mechanical and/or woodworking experience
-  Forklift operators certificate and WHMIS certification are considered assets
Skills:
-  Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work effectively with individuals experiencing disabilities
-  Strong math and communication skills

Final Candidates are required to provide satisfactory criminal record checks including a vulnerable sector search.
