Company Background

Donalds Fine Foods, a family owned global provider of high quality specialty meat products, has openings for Production Workers, based out of our North 49 Foods, Moose Jaw facility.

Please note, this facility operates as both a slaughter house and meat processing plant. The Production Worker positions involves working Monday to Friday (6:00 AM-2:30 PM).

Duties and Responsibilities (please see job description for list of all duties)
Floor clean up, baggers, wrappers, boxers, sorters, scrapers.
pre-weight scale, transferors, bung wash, leaf lard scraper and offal sorter
Working knowledge of the production needs product specifications, the flow of production lines, and production-related equipment operation.
Follow all food and health and safety policies and procedures
    
Working Conditions
Workweeks are 5 days, Monday to Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM; overtime may be required
Employees are entitled to two (2) fifteen (15) minute breaks one prior to lunch break and one post lunch break at or mid shift and one (1) thirty (30) minute unpaid lunch break at or near mid shift.
Employees are exposed to controlled cold temperatures, noise, a physically laborious fast-paced and repetitive environment
    
Requirements:
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
Prior experience in food manufacturing or assembly line work considered an asset
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Ability to learn and apply Product Specifications & Food Safety
Ability to learn and apply knife skills
Team player
Excellent Communication Ability
Must have the ability and enjoy working in a fast paced physically & mentally demanding atmosphere
Focus on product quality
