2 Motel Housekeeping Room Attendants needed by Wheel Inn Motel

Full-time, permanent, shift work, including weekends in Assiniboia, SK

Starting wage: $15.00 per hour.

Location of work: 110-1 Avenue East, Assiniboia, SK S0H 0B0

Requirements
We are looking for experienced Housekeeping Room Attendants. You must be honest, reliable, have a positive attitude and able to communicate in English. We require a minimum 1 year of direct experience as a cleaner ideally in a motel or hotel setting. Successful candidates must have experience with the below duties and responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
-    Stock and sort supplies
-    Load cart with supplies such as linens and move it to the required area
-    Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms
-    Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries
-    Ensure bathrooms are clean
-    Take away, room service items, dirty linen, and trash
-    Perform check on all room appliances to ensure they are in good working condition
-    Adjust furniture, desk items, and appliances when necessary
-    Dust furnishings and walls and remove marks from them
-    Carry out floor care duties in hallway and guest rooms, and vacuum carpets
-    Provide immediate report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problem, or accidents to the supervisor
-    Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards
-    Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
-    Keep uniform clean and make sure to appear professional always
-    Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets) as required
-    Ensure company standards are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests
